Special Order SKU

This report identifies SKUs on your sales floor that are not being ordered because their Special Order SKU flag is set to Y. These SKUs meet the following criteria:  

  • Are active warehouse SKUs
  • Have active location codes (location starts with a digit) 
  • Have non-dropped location 2 code

Steps to process this report:

  1. You may want to look at these items on the sales floor and gather information such as physical QOH, self-location, etc.  Special Order SKU flag.png
  2. Decide if you want to continue replenishing this item. 

If Yes then 

  1. Set the SKU's Special Order SKU flag to N (Additonal codes hyperlink in the Codes tab of Inventory Maintenance).
  2. Ensure the SKU's current location code and QOH are accurate.

If No then choose the best option:

  • If the SKU's QOH is zero then set the SKU's location to your store's Drop location (e.g. DR24, CLOSE, ZZZ, etc. 
  • If the SKU has QOH then set its Location 2 to your store's Drop Location. 
  • Set the SKU's Store Closeout flag to Y (Codes tab of Inventory Maintenance).
